Your child has a unique way that he or she learns, processes, and applies information in school and in sports.
Since no two children are alike, trying to find the “one-size-fits-all” method of teaching information in sports
or in school is absurd and a waste of time.
We specialize in finding out valid and reliable information about your child’s way of learning.
We present this information to you in easy-to-read reports that offer suggestions and advice on how to accelerate
learning and improve performance. Depending on the assessment, we can find out the following information.
- We find out how your child learns best in a school environment. The type of teacher, lecture style, exam format,
subject taught, required reading, and physical layout of a classroom all influence your child’s ability to learn
and be successful.
- We find out how your child prefers to learn information in different subjects. How they understand and prefer
to learn information related to social science may not be the exact way they prefer to learn about formulas,
equations, and mathematical problems.
- We find out how they prefer to learn and apply information related to their sport. Many athletes have a difficult
time learning new techniques, strategies, or adjustments because of the teaching process. Things that you would
guess should be easy for them to learn and apply, they struggle with.
- We find out how they process information and what they think when they are performing at their best and at their
worst. We create comparisons of the type of thinking that makes them successful. All athletes have different
ways of creating and sustaining high levels of performance.
- We find out the level of mental discipline your child has in competitive situations. We find out how things like
their confidence, concentration, and composure are affected by changing events and different situations
(i.e. pressure).
When your child has completed an assessment, we provide summary information that they can refer to over time.
We also offer easy-to-read reports and discussions to an email address of your choice. These reports offer insight
into their way of thinking and suggestions for how to use their unique patterns of thought to their advantage in school
and in sports.
